It is bounded on the north east side by over 1 km of beautiful unspoiled beach.  Abutting the southern boundary is the main Miches – Sabana de la Mar public highway.

INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS ALREADY CARRIED OUT 

It has already undertaken infrastructure work within the land, which would assist the immediate development of the site. This includes:

  • the construction of internal roads and natural walkways,
  • laid water and electricity to the building plots
  • the construction of a modest restaurant, office and swimming pool
  • the construction of three dwellings (intended for the use and occupation by members of the developers team during the development project, and which are included in the sale).

IMPORTANT EXTERNAL INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS AND PROJECTS.

Major new public roadworks have been constructed which have the effect of dramatically improving access to this part of the Dominican Republic.

In addition, a new highway has been built which connects Punta Cana with Miches in an hour, and Miches and Sabana del Mar in an hour too. This has been built to a high standard by Oderbrecht (a Brazilian contractor). The new highway provides for easy and rapid access between Punta Cana and the land, and in time, beyond to Sabana de la Mar.

A very substantial development project by the Cisneros Group is proposed. It is called Tropicalia and is understood to include golf, hotel, and other resort facilities anchored by a Four Seasons Resort. The construction of these roads, improvement works, which have been carried out in the town of Miches itself, and the proposed Tropicalia development will hugely increase demand for property in this part of the island.

MARINA.

It has already partly constructed a Marina which will have capacity for approximately 70 berths. The Marina is suitable for boats up to 10 m in length. There is already a supply of water and electricity laid to the jetties.
